Feeling Blue?

Check out these instagram pictures, they will make you smile!  #wfmblue

Asheville, NC Blowing Through Berries

This morning the Asheville store sold through 2.5 pallets of blueberries in 1 hour and 15 minutes. Later in the day, they sold through 1.5 pallets in 30 minutes. This time includes lots of waiting while pallets were being pulled through the parking lot and unloaded. Here’s a video of one pallet disappearing in less than 4 minutes.

NorCal's New RDC

Great visit today to the new Richmond Distribution Center in the Northern California Region.

A BIG Oklahoma Thank You!

A big THANK YOU from all of us in Oklahoma, we have felt the love and support since tragedy struck. Oklahomans are now doing what we do best, coming together. We have seen so much support from not only from Americans but the world. I can speak for everyone at the OKC store by saying we are tremendously proud to work for such a wonderful company. First meeting the needs of our team members who were affected and then reaching out in the community like we we’re able to do yesterday. Please continue to keep us in your thoughts and prayers and be begin the long rebuilding process.

Crumpets!

First clean and made right here crumpets in CTM.  This British Classic has eluded us since they didn't meet our quality standards until the CTM crew made it happen!

SAVEUR Magazine-Grilling's Best Ingredient

Great idea from Superior, CO!

Greetings on Memorial Day Weekend-
Here at the Superior Store at 7:00am this morning we had a “Surprise” Team Build to kick off the Memorial Day Weekend. All Team Members in store stopped what they were doing and headed out to the back of the store to shuck corn for the Produce Team. We shucked 22 cases of corn in 15 minutes. All participants enjoyed a hot breakfast after the shucking, compliments of our Prep Foods.

Oklahoma City Update

Good afternoon,

As you are aware, Moore, Oklahoma, which is about 17 miles south of our Oklahoma City store, was hit by a devastating tornado on Monday.

Thankfully all of our team members and their families are safe, though there was some damage to homes.  Our store was not damaged and is open and serving the community.

We have set up a Register Drive for the Red Cross which will run through June 9th.  This is region wide and we have shared the information with the other regions as well, should they want to participate.

Here are some other avenues for helping the affected community of Moore, Oklahoma should you wish to do so.

  • Salvation Army: Call 1-800-ARMY. You can also donate online here or text the word STORM to 80888 to make a $10 donation.
